Thanks for the recipe. I did have two different kinds of starters going but after neglecting them for a while I decided I should start again. The only concern I have is the milk in them if they are not refrigerated. I am in Oz and its summer.
I know! I wish I were there. Most of my research shows that the old starters were all replenished with water and flour, not milk. The only time to worry about your starter is when it turns orange. Through it out. A black liquid is o.k. Just mix it in. Ron The Outlaw Gourmet
