Quick Camp Potatoes
This is a good dish for camp because there is nothing perishable in this dish . The frozen potatoes can hold 2 or 3 days after thawed in your ice chest. This dish would go good with Caned ham or even Spam.
1 package ( 24 ounces ) frozen O'Brien potatoes, thawed
1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt *
½ teaspoon Seasoned Pepper *
1 can ( 10½ ounce ) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup seasoned bread crumbs
¼ cup butter, milted
In a 10" Dutch oven, combine first 6 ingredients and spread evenly in oven. In a medium size mixing bowl, combine bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over potato mixture. Place oven over 7 charcoals. Place lid on oven with 13 charcoals. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until bread crumbles are brown and potatoes are soft threw.
