Yesterdays D.O.G.

Yesterday's gathering was great, we had 5 participants and about 20 visitors from as far away as Alaska, Palm Springs and San Jose. We were on the lawn at the historic Butte Creek Mill in Eagle Point the breeze was cool and the nearby creek was peaceful. Lots of great food and fun to be had by all. We hope to see you at our next D.O.G.

We had: Chicken Pot Pie, Coca Cola Chicken & Sausage, Potato Skins, Cornbread, Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Peach Cobbler.

  2. AWESOME, it all looks soooo good! Do all your recipes come from that book on your side bar, "Dutch Oven Cookin"?

No, these recipes are on the blog, on "older Posts" or will be in the next week or so. The coca cola chicken is about a year back. Thank you for your comments. I love to help you and all that ask. The book on the side Bar I think is the best book out there. Dick is one of the first 12 members of I.D.O.S. and still my best friend.

  5. Hi! Carolyn
Thanks I dream to. I would love to come " Down Under" and Dutch oven cook with you and your fellow campers. My wife and I camp as must as we can. I cooked in a skillet at camp until I met Dick Stucki, and changed my hole life, at camp, home and away.I am a Chef but more, I am a Dutch Oven cook.
