We would like to thank all of you that came out, despite the COLD. We also thank State Farm For the awnings that keep the one hail storm off us, And we have to THANK Bob and Debbie Russel, at the Butte Creek Mill, for holding this event each year. I did not get as many pictures as I would like, but as usual I was cooking, along with Paul, Aaron and Gery. Thanks guys. We had just enough for all. I will put up recipes over the next few days.
They must of liked it! IT WAS ALL GONE.
Butte Creek Mill's Vintage Faire will be bigger and better than ever. We will be cooking Dutch oven dishes to sample to the public from about noon to 4:00 Saturday May 11. All kinds of activities going on all day. Gun Fighters, Civil Was rein-actors, Black Smiths, Quilters, just to name a few. Click on the Butte Creek Mill Icon for more info.
This demo went off very well. We missed you that were not able to get there. We cooked 2 14" ovens and 2 12" ovens and served about 280 people. We will post dates for further activities as we get them. Hope to see all of you over the summer events.
