After you get hot charcoals, you need to place them on your table and oven. Fingers don't work well, they tend to burn. Salad tongs, or grill tongs work much better. An ash shovel works best for moving larger amounts, and for removing burnt out charcoals and ash. You may want, but don't need, an ash bucket. It makes a good place to put your spent charcoals, and ash until your cooking is over and you can then properly dispose of them.
