January First is almost over, and I didn't even touch a Black Pot. Well that is not a reflection of the rest of the up coming year. I will get back to working up new, and reflecting on old recipes. I hope I can inspire you to do the same. I am looking foreword to seeing some comments from some, or all of you. I will look for inspiration from those comments. I will also keep you informed of any events we have coming up. I miss those of you I know in Salt Lake, and would like to know more of you from all over. If you are ever in SO. Oregon, look me up.

  1. Happy New Year! Good to hear from you.

    With surgery and limitations during healing I hadn't touched a black pot in a couple months. Although with being able to use my hand a bit more I made Coussolet (sausage & bean stew) on New Year's day in a Dutch oven that simmered on my wood stove. It was yummy! I hope to do more as soon as healing is done.

    I look forward to seeing & learning from what you post.
