Spiced Pecans

At our Holiday gathering, we like to put out bowl of sneaks. Chips, dips and nuts. Give this on a try. It's not to hot, but you can make it that way if you like....... Ha Ha.

Spray on olive oil
2 cups pecan halves
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup butter, melted
4 teaspoons hot pepper sauce ( like Cholula)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper, fresh ground

Preheat 12" dutch oven to 350°f . Lightly spray the oven with olive oil. In medium mixing bowl, mix all ingredients. Spread nuts in a single layer in oven. Toast 10 minutes until lightly brown, stirring once. Put nuts on baking sheet to cool.

Make several batches, And packed in cute jars for gifts to take home.
