Oven Size

Have you ever tried to use a regular cook book and it said to use a 3 qt casserole, but you don't know what size oven that would be? Here is a conversion.

8- inch 2 quarts
10-inch 4 quarts
12-inch 6 quarts
12-inch deep 8 quarts
14-inch 8 quarts
14-inch deep 10 quarts
16-inch 12 quarts

The new 6-inch I think is 1quart, and the 5-inch is 1 pint.
My 17 deep I only think it to be 16 quarts, and my Maca 12"x16- inch will hold a 20 pound turkey.

I have asked my wife for a 6-inch oven for my Birthday. I will cross my fingers for 2 week. That will make cooking kind of hard, but I will live with it.
