Stuffing or Dressing?
Is it stuffing, or is it dressing? I have heard it called both for over 60 years. What is it? Most chefs see it this way, In the bird, its stuffing, in a pan its dressing. It is that easy! Do you want stuffing, No. Stuffing dries out the bird. Plus, you roast a bird that feeds 10, you can only get about 4 servings from the bird, and the rest most be done in a pan anyway. I stuff my bird with chunks of onion, celery, quartered oranges, and things like that. It releases the juices in to the turkey and when you cut into the bird and the juices run out, you will thank me. It will be the best turkey on your block.
