Or my way

The recipe below is my sons, who is also a good dutch oven cook, but writes his recipes for every one. To do this in a D. O. Just preheat the lid of a 10" oven on a led stand, with 16 charcoals on it. Press your crust in to the 1o" oven and bake. as in the recipe. Add the filling and bake with 8 charcoals on the bottom and the preheated lid on top. When you see the top starting to brown a little, remove from bottom heat and continue to bake with top heat only. Pumpkin takes a long time to set so give your self time. Bake it in the morning and let cool before serving.
